The Simple Root: Award-Winning & Now Online

The Simple Root, the global, veggie-first, plant-based food brand backed by Pilot Lite and the McCain Food Company, is winning accolades and selling online.

 

It's been an eventful fall for The Simple Root brand, which has operations in both the US and the UK.

In late October, we're proud to report that The Simple Root UK was named the Best New Producer/Startup by the Great British Food Awards! The Simple Root is also offering its four sauces online, including the award-winning Truffle & Ch**se Style, Spicy Satay Style, Creamy Simple White, and Creamy Pesto Style.

In the US, the company's dips and cheese-style spreads became available to purchase through the online grocery sites igourmet and Plantbelly. Among the offerings are the Salsa Con Queso dip, original Original Plain and Garlic & Herb cream cheese-style spreads, and Sun-Dried Tomato Caprese and Smoked Gouda artisan cheese-style spreads.
